Shahram Nazeri, Kaykhosro Pournazeri and Tahmoures Pournazeri for DIYAR World Tour

THE STORY

A meeting of
generations.

DIYAR brings together the legendary voice of Shahram Nazeri, Kaykhosro Pournazeri — Grand Master of the Tanbur — and composer Tahmoures Pournazeri.

For the first time, Shahram Nazeri performs a new body of work composed by Tahmoures Pournazeri. The live experience connects contemporary Iranian music with the mystical tradition of the tanbur and the rhythmic energy of Kurdish music, performed in Persian and Kurdish.
